Classic Dystopian Summer Reading Group
We'll meet for two sessions per book. The first session is to set up the story and to start reading it together. Then, the students will read most of the book on their own, but stop before getting to the climax. In the second session, we'll discuss the meaning of the events leading to the climax and read the final chapters of the book together.
The Time Machine by H.G. Wells (ages 12 - 17) - June 13th and 20th - 2pm ET/11am PT Anthem by Ayn Rand (ages 12 - 17) - July 8th and 15th - 2pm ET/11am PT The Giver by Lois Lowry (ages 12 - 17) - TBD Duration: 75 mins per session (including a short break) Cost: $50 per book (includes both sessions) Register for The Time Machine ($50)

Dramatic Play Reading - (ages 13 - 17)

And, we'll learn some techniques for embodying characters and reading with expression.
